We take time to listen and understand your health goals. Your first appointment will be 75- 90 min.
For acupuncture: the first 30-45 min will be a comprehensive intake followed by an acupuncture session.
prices for acupuncture range from $95 - $195
prices for functional medicine: $350 for initial includes follow up.
Subsequent visits are prorated from hourly fee, $275
prices for cupping range from $20 - $65
Acupuncture: subsequent visits are 60 minutes.
Functional medicine subsequent visits are 15 , 30 or 60 minutes.
We are in network with several insurances, for acupuncture ONLY.
As of 2021, insurance is no longer paying for cupping.

Professional grade supplements and/ or botanical medicine may be prescribed after your visit to support the healing process. These prescriptions are additional to office visit rates.
Diagnostic testing is offered for functional medicine consults. We offer a range of advanced diagnostic testing. These specialty tests use blood, urine, stool, and saliva samples to collect data.

DOES ACUPUNCTURE HURT?
Acupuncture needles are hair-thin and they are inserted gently and shallowly. While each person experiences acupuncture differently, most people feel only a minimal amount of sensation as the needles are inserted. Once the needles are in place, most of our patients tell us that they experience a feeling of relaxation and wellbeing that lasts for many hours after the treatment.

IS ACUPUNCTURE SAFE?
When a properly trained licensed acupuncturist performs your treatment, there are virtually no negative side-effects, and minimum risk.
HOW SHOULD I PREPARE FOR MY FIRST APPOINTMENT?
Please drink water and eat some protein within 2 hours.
HOW WILL I FEEL AFTER MY SESSION?
Everyone responds differently to acupuncture, some people may feel relaxed others may feel energized, and some may feel a little sore.
HOW LONG ARE NEEDLES RETAINED?
Acupuncture treatments require the needles be retained between 15 and 40 minutes. During that time some patients nap, listen to music or prefer a guided meditation. During your session other eastern modalities may be administered, for example, moxa/ cupping.
CAN I EXERCISE / WORK AFTER MY ACUPUNCTURE SESSION?
We suggest taking it easy for that day, as things are moving and shifting. You may return to work, but keep in mind you might feel a little sleepy after your treatment.
ARE LABS COVERED BY INSURANCE?
Costs for blood work and specialty tests are not included in your visit. Blood work is usually covered by insurance. Specialty tests range in cost from $100 - $350.
WHAT SPECIALTY LABS DO YOU ORDER?
Some of our most frequently prescribed specialty tests assess allergies, cortisol, genetics, microbiome imbalance, gut health.
IS CUPPING COVERED BY INSURANCE?
Cupping has not been covered insurance. It is the patient's responsibility to pay for such service, cupping will be charged as an add-on to your session.
